Mariya Anderson was born in Odessa, Ukraine and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She is an avid helicopter and plane pilot, mountaineer, artist and entrepreneur, who loves to illustrate and write children’s books to inspire little girls and boys to explore their imagination through rhyme and lyrical work. Currently, Mariya lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her children, husband, dogs and chickens.
